How do novices operate drones?

The rapid development of modern drones has made aerial photography popular, and drones have also become the most powerful selfie sticks in modern times. Some novices, Xiaobai, will inevitably feel at a loss when they get a drone and don’t know how to operate it. Today I will share with you a small tutorial on basic operation of drones for novices.

1, take-off and landing practice

Takeoff and landing are the primary operations during flight. Although simple, their importance cannot be ignored. First, let's take a look at the takeoff process (the power-on operation is omitted here). Move away from the drone, unlock the flight control, slowly push the throttle and wait for the drone to take off. This is the operation procedure for takeoff. Among them, the throttle must be pushed slowly, even if the motor has been pushed a little bit, the motor has not started yet. This can prevent the aircraft from being unable to control the aircraft due to excessive throttle.

When landing, you also need to pay attention to the operation sequence: lower the throttle to make the aircraft slowly approach the ground; push the throttle slightly from the ground about 5-250px to reduce the descending speed; then lower the throttle again until the drone touches the ground (do not push after bottoming Throttle); When the throttle is lowered to the lowest, the flight control is locked. Compared with take-off, landing is a more complicated process that requires repeated practice.

In the take-off and landing operations, it is also necessary to pay attention to ensure the stability of the UAV, and the swing range of the aircraft should not be too large, otherwise the propeller may be damaged during landing and take-off.

2. Lifting exercises

Simple lifting exercises can not only exercise the control of the throttle, but also allow beginners to learn to stabilize the flight of the aircraft. When practicing, pay attention to the height of the venue. It is best to operate outdoors.

1. Ascending process

The ascent process is the increase in the speed of the drone's propeller and the ascending process of the drone. The main lever is the throttle lever. When practicing the ascent operation, assume that you have taken off and slowly push the throttle. At this time, the drone will slowly rise. The more the throttle is pushed (don't push the throttle to the highest or close to the highest), the higher the ascent speed.

2, descending exercises

The process of falling and rising at the same time is just the opposite. When descending, the speed of the propeller will decrease, and the drone will start to lower its altitude due to lack of lift. Before starting to practice the descent operation, make sure that the drone has reached a sufficient height. When the aircraft has stabilized and stopped, start to slowly pull down the throttle.

3. Pitching exercises

pitching practice is also the basic operation of flying. The pitch operation is used for the forward and backward operations of the UAV to ensure the correct flight of the aircraft.

1, dive practice

During the dive operation, the head of the drone will drop slightly and the tail will lift. To deal with the speed of the propeller, the speed of the two propellers of the nose decreases, and the speed of the tail propeller increases, and the force provided by the propellers will have a certain angle with the horizontal plane. In this way, not only can the aircraft provide lift to counteract gravity, but also provide forward force. At this time, the lift will also be reduced, so the aircraft will be lowered and the throttle can be properly pushed.

2, upward exercises

The uplift exercise is similar to the dive operation, except that the joystick needs to be pulled back from the middle position. In the process of pulling. The two propellers in the tail of the drone will slow down the speed, and the two propellers in the nose will speed up. Then there will be a phenomenon similar to the dive operation, except that the drone will retreat.

Pull down the joystick slowly to stop pulling the joystick when the aircraft starts to retreat. At this time, the aircraft will continue to retreat. After retreating for a certain distance, slowly push the joystick until the joystick returns to the middle position and stop pushing. At this time, the aircraft will stop retreating and the pitching exercise is completed.
